Getting Ready for Road to CA

My sister and I are taking some classes are Road to California, So. Cal's big quilt show. We're doing two classes on Thursday, the Hands All Around class with Sharyn Craig and a Feathered Star, which we've both always wanted to make. Below are my fabrics for the Hands class. We're only supposed to get two blocks done in class so my brilliant sis said, "Why don't we just make a table runner so we don't have another UFO." She is a finisher and not just a "topper" like me so I thought I'd take her advise.

We're staying the night and Friday we'll see the gorgeous quilts and shop the vendors. Cha-ching!!!! Today it was 84 degrees and it's supposed to be nice all week and into the weekend. Should be nice for some of the out of state vendors.

Okay, I just stopped by to say hi. I'm going to try and stitch a few stars on my stack 'n whack. Stitch and sew......here I go. :o)

That sounds like so much fun, Liz! I've always wanted to make a Feathered Star, too, but I haven't been brave enough to tackle it yet. It looks hard! I want to see yours when you're done with it! : )

Have a good time!
