I was at Target the other day and saw these great M&M's! Look at the great colors for Halloween. (By the way, I eat these. Thus, the reason for trying to be creative while I walk on the treadmill!!!!) LOL I'm going to a sew-in this Saturday. If I have time, I'll try to come up with a little goodie to give the girls who go. If I run out of time, I'll just take some to share.
And we're having a Brown Bag swap on our Yahoo site. My BBB (brown bag buddy) is Joyce in NC so I'm working on a little project for her. She sent me burgundy embroidery floss and a cute snowflake fabric. I got about half way through the first "stage" of her gift.
I'm using one of Angela's drawings for the main design. It's going pretty fast so far and I like the way it's coming out. Joyce said she always gives homemade gifts but she seldom gets them because people figure she can make them for herself. But as we ALL know, it's so much fun to "receive" as well. No one knows more, how much time it takes to make a homemade gift than a crafter!
It's my FAVORITE time of the year!!

Oh, what beautiful M & M's!! Need to put some of those out JUST for decoration...NOT for eating!! Yeah, right!! Around here, how long would that last?!!!
Ha! I *just* got back from Target this afternoon and had 4 bags of those in my cart. I put them back, though, because I'm holding out for the freebie little Trick or Treat bag you get for free if you buy two (two kids = two treat bags, hence the four bags of M&Ms!). They ran out of the bags, so I have to go back in a few days and see if they've gotten more... my waistline thanks me, because I eat them, too! Did they have *dark* chocolate ones, too?!
